MINI ACADEMY

Never before has the daily environment overwhelmed us with such an influx of visual interfaces, for example: advertising, branding, websites and television. It has become essential that children are given the basic visual literacy skills to appreciate, interpret and participate in the various visual language forms.

Our specialist art teachers offer inspiring, interactive art classes for younger children. The approach is nurturing and fun, encouraging children to experiment and explore through a variety of media. In addition to drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture and printmaking there will also be classes and workshops reflecting contemporary and popular interests such as cell phone photography, origami, puppetry, illustration and book design.

It is also our intention to identify and develop talent from an early age, so that parents and students may make more informed choices regarding art subject choices later in the school career.
