An introduction and exploration to the world of puppetry using objects, make-shift puppets, and shadow puppetry.
As artists we manipulate our medium of choice to reveal parts of ourselves, an idea, an emotion, a story. Puppetry can be a very intimate way through which to explore the self, and create visual hooks for others to attach meaning to.
Come and find out how puppetry can be used as a new tool to convey your ideas, as well as a wonderful outlet for artistic expression.
Participants will be making paper puppets, moving around in the space, playing on the floor, and working in groups. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

"Amazing! Magic! The course was described to me as 'magic' when I was invited by a colleague. That's exactly what it was to me, awakening the child within! Thank you!" Rosemarie
